“Sky House” is one of a set of small watercolour and ink illustrations I made in my sketchbook one winter as a response to an Instagram challenge #FolkTaleWeek. I rarely offer my paintings/original drawings for sale; sketchbook pieces can be intensely personal and hard to let go of, but recently I’ve felt more drawn to this illustrative style and enjoying the contrast with my cyanotype work.
