This little print is part of a tiny edition, combining two processes, made for the Cumbria Printmakers exhibition at Brantwood, Coniston.

The tittle is a quotation from Elevation by Charles Baudelaire

Collagraph is an intaglio print method, which involved the deign being carved into mount board which was then varnished and inked up like an etching plate. The cyanotype pond was added first.
The print is on Somerset paper and has been professionally framed by wonderful Scott at Studio 18 near Keswick, Cumbria.

• Frame is hardwood, grey with distressed detail which compliments the cream
